This workshop is designed to help you fashion a blurb to do your novel justice, while focusing on conflict, keywords, genre alignment, and reader experience wherever you are at in your blurb creation process. QUALIFICATIONS: ~ You must complete a Blurb Worksheet prior to your workshop. The better you fill out your worksheet, the more profitable your session will be! After you book your service, the Worksheet will be provided. ~ You must put together a rough draft of your blurb in advance of the zoom meeting so that we have something to work on together. If you need help writing your blurb, consider a Done For You Blurb Service instead. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Your workshop will include completion of a Blurb Worksheet followed by one of the following Zoom Sessions: ~ Option 1: DEVELOPMENT - a personalized 30 minute zoom meeting to discuss conflict, keywords, tropes, format, and Big Picture Problems. This service is recommended for blurbs early in the creation process that need foundational revisions. We will discuss genre expectations, story stakes, powerful keywords, comparison authors​/​novels, and more. ~ Option 2: EDITING - a personalized 30 minute zoom meeting with a focus on line editing, word count, and polishing. This service is recommended after purchasing the first session to fine tune and polish your blurb, bringing it to the next level. We will focus on polishing your language, smoothing away rough wording or poor grammar, and tightening your blurb to make it truly sparkle. Each session will include one followup via email to go over your revisions and offer an additional round of feedback. *If needed, additional meetings can be added (message to inquire about rates)
